Business Development Manager

Ansvarsområder:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for top line growth focused on one or more of the 4 key sectors we support:

  • Telecommunications
  • Financial Services
  • Retail
  • Consumer Products/Manufacturing 

 

The Business Development Manager will identify new business opportunities for Transcom Norway and develop relationships with the senior leaders in organizations within these key sectors. 

 

  • Sales prospecting activities to identify new business client opportunities within territory
  • Preparation and delivery of sales presentations and proposals to effectively position and promote Transcom’s services to potential clients. Co-ordinating resource and input as required from other Transcom functions
  • Working with Transcom management and prospect to negotiate pricing, business terms and contracts.
  • Working with the program management teams to ensure a seamless handover and transition of the prospect to the operations group
  • The BDM will work diligently to ensure that all Pan-European sales opportunities identified within their territory are highlighted to relevant Transcom management. The BDM will interface and work with other BDMs and Transcom management as required to identify and secure Pan European business opportunities
Erfaring:
  • The candidate should be a successful sales person with B2B experience and familiar with solutions based sales approach and have experience of selling and closing high value deals. 
  • The candidates must have strong sales and presentation skills and be comfortable in dealing at senior management level in prospect companies.
  • Previous involvement in the sales of outsourcing services, CRM, or related services would be a distinct advantage. 
  • The candidate must be self disciplined and capable of developing their own sales opportunities in the initial instances.
  • In addition candidates must have at least 2 years experience in face-to-face, B2B selling, preferably with business solutions approach and related to outsourcing, CRM or software/services sales.
  • Appreciation and understanding of business financials would also be a strong advantage
Utdannelse:
The right candidate holds a university degree or equivalent higher qualification.
